Quick Start Guide

Congratulations on purchasing the Smiledrive® Clothes Drying Unit! For best results and long life of your dryer, please follow these instructions carefully.

 

1. Preparation

Squeeze Clothes Well: Before placing clothes in the dryer, thoroughly squeeze or wring out excess water. The less water, the faster and more efficient the drying.

 

2. Loading the Dryer

Don’t overload with only thick or difficult-to-dry clothes. For best results:

Always hang clothes on hangers

  • 1–2 thick or hard-to-dry clothes (jeans, towels, etc.)
  • 4–5 shirts, t-shirts, or tops 
  • 4–5 easy-to-dry clothes (underwear, socks, etc.)
  • Positioning: 
     Place thicker clothes closer to the heating device. Lighter and thinner clothes should go further away.

 

3. Operation

  • Drying Time: Clothes will dry between 60 and 120 minutes, depending on their thickness and dampness
  • Zipping & Ventilation: IMPORTANT:
    • DO NOT ZIP the dryer cover fully
    • Use only the Velcro to close.
    • For best airflow, keep the top cover partly open by about 20–30%
    • For best ventilation: Use the exhaust (provided) and fit it in the slot (as per the video, above)

  • Check & Rotate: EVERY 30 MINUTES

    • Check the clothes for dryness.
    • Flip damp clothes to expose wet sides to heat
    • Remove clothes that are already dry.
    • Move undried clothes closer to the heating source.

 

4. After Drying

  • Remove Clothes Promptly:
     Once your clothes are dry, do not leave them inside the dryer
  • Cool Down:
     Place dried clothes under a ceiling fan for 5–10 minutes for a fresh finish.

 

5. Safety & Best Practices

  • Always unplug the dryer when not in use
  • Never cover the heating device directly with clothes.
  • Do not overload; this affects both efficiency and safety.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
